Maureen- Beautifully done as always.  Congratulations on your convincing the owners to paint and do some other updates.  That dining room light fixture makes such a difference. 

Maureen wonderful work.  You do amazing staging and of course your colour selections are always warm tones.

Excellent example of the power of a good transformation!  Adding color to the dining room walls really made the vaulted ceiling feature standout!  Updating light fixtures is one of my favorite ways to add perceived value to a house.  Well done!

Maureen-what a transformation-you added warmth and made certain that the architectural features-like arched doorways stood out-wonderful job.

Maureen - All the suggestions you made to the homeowner were bang on.  I think you make a very good point.  What would the buyer see upon entering the home?  The "before" view looked pretty dismal.  Your "after" photo, with tasteful furnishings, artwork and colour will definitely draw buyers in and have them wanting to see more.

Beautiful staging going on in this home.  I love what you did.  Simple but very effective.  Sometime I need to have you come over to my home and tell me what you think (not for free of course), that is if you don't fall over from everything I have.  Talk about full to the max and I have even let go of a lot of "things".  My home is like a gallery in most rooms because of all of my paintings. They go up and down depending if I sell one or not.  I know I need to paint the whole house room to room, and even though I am great with color, this is my home and I am not so great, my imagination goes haywire.

When I am ready and if you are willing, I will make an appointment with you.

hi Janet ~Oh, thank you for that nice compliment!  Making the home warm and inviting is important so that buyers can relate to living there ... we find it's important to stage for the target buyer.

The paint change in the DR was dramatic to showcase the great ceiling. Well...changing out that light fixture helped too, ha. Each room looks wonderful.

What a difference your staging has made to showcase this home Maureen.  It is so much more inviting and presents a lifestyle many long for.  Great work as usual!

Great tips Maureen! Sometimes just ol white won't do. A little color goes a long way to warming up a space and making it inviting. I've noticed dark molding and trim is more common out west and making the walls a warm neutral plays that up much better than white. Nice work as always!
