Gene, Someone has gone the distance in planning such an extensive celebration! I hope the turn out is big and everyone has a great time!
Nice profile picture BTW.
Gene - I can actually say I've been to this event in Lockport and it was a lot of fun.
Charles: This is a huge event every year in our community and has been for years. Just keeps getting better and better because so many volunteers work so hard to accomplish that. Hoping the rain cooperates and stays away! And thanks for the thumbs-up on the pic. My wife classes me up ...
Michelle: Glad to hear that!! This event pulls from all over Chicagoland. It's an annual "trek" for some families. Hoping all goes well again this year ... thanks for writing!!
Gene
Wow, is this Annual Gene? Sounds like a really nice time to visit.
Gene,
They say things are big in Texas, but in some ways, they are bigger in Illinois. I'm a native gal from the north side of Chicago. Chicago parades are a tradition that never disappoints. Have a good time!
Tammy: Yes it is ... and this year they have re-introduced the Craft Show portion of the event. Back by popular demand! And come visit us Tammy! We'd love to have you ...
Patricia: You've got that right. We never miss an excuse to have a parade!! I'm meeting so many people that hail from the Chicagoland region because of this post. Just amazing. We've produced some of Rain's best! Let me know if you ever come back to visit, Patricia. Lunch is on me ...
Gene
Hi Gene ~ Sounds like this event was fun for the whole family, with activities to keep everyone busy! Combining it with Father's Day too would make it even more popular, hope the weather cooperated!
