The County of Will is mailing tax bills on 271,435 parcels of county located property.  It is an increase of 555 over last year's mailing.

Treasurer McGuire asks that each property owner take the time to read their bill in its entirety along with the additional information enclosed within the mailing.  He also reminds property owners that fees and penalties are charged when payments dates are missed.  To avoid these extra charges please mark the due dates on your calendars and prepare to make payment in the most convenience method for yourself.

Gene...that message brings out the chills these days; actually, our tax assessment did go down for the first time since 1978 [time we have lived in Macomb County, MI]  that is the good news-unfortunately, so did the value of almost every Home in the area.
What to wish for may be the question these days,
You posted what needed to be posted and good for the reminder.
