While it's true that in some people's travel dreams they are venturing off and are completely independent while forging new trails ... others dream of the knowledge that their travel and accommodations are being thoroughly and completely planned and prepared for them within the security of a group.
For those that dream of the best of both worlds ... there is "Footloose Travel Club" located out of Mokena, Illinois. "Footloose Travel Club" is the invention of Creator/Co-Owner Sharon Varel, a travel industry veteran of over 30 years and former travel agency owner/operator. Its members come from all over our nation.
Footloose Travel Club's company motto is ... "Innovative, Unique, and Hassle-Free Experience for Discerning Travelers". It's more than their motto. It's what they deliver. 
Footloose Travel Club members contribute their ideas and travel interests via surveys and periodic Club meetings. At these informal meetings, Club members have a chance to explore and discuss new destination interests with travel industry professionals and speakers. Movies and presentations regarding new destinations and forums of travel are introduced for consideration. After group discussions, trips are then formulated and custom-designed to meet a group's travel interests.
Membership in the Footloose Travel Club means that you will travel with other Club members that have compatible travel interests and needs. Because each Club member contributes their own thoughts and wishes to the design of trips, the travel planned and developed is to their personal tastes and budget and fulfills their personal dreams.
Lodging is a very good example of how these trips are customized for a group. Rather than typical hotel stays, Sharon Varel can be directed to research more unique styles of accommodations, small boutique hotels, castles, or Bed and Breakfasts and then book them where and when available. Expeditions and side trips to meet the more unique desires, interests, needs, and wants of the group Club members are also possible.
A Footloose Travel Escort accompanies the Club group on each trip, seeing to the needs, details, and comforts of those traveling ... promising a more smooth and relaxing vacation. Afterwards, a photo album or DVD containing memories of the trip is awarded to each traveler, compliments of Sharon Varel and Footloose Travel Club. Right now, a specially-designed sightseeing trip to Vancouver and Victoria is on the calendar for the end of September and has been completely booked. Future trips are already being discussed or are in the works through the Club.
