I thought this information from Michelle Gibson, Hansen Real Estate Group, South Wellington, Florida ... regarding Target's recycling efforts (and opportunity for savings) so worthy of note and re-blogging.
Who of us doesn't have a zillion of those darn pesky plastic bags collecting around our house? Now we have another handy and convenient drop-off for them, instead of the landfill.
Great News! Thanks Michelle!

Recycle AND Save at Target - Super Target Lake Worth Florida
The next time you shop at your local Target make sure to bring your reusable bags because they will give you 5₵ for each recyclable bag you use. While Target sells recyclable bags you don't have to buy or use theirs in order to get the credit, the bag just has to be an actual reusable shopping bag, not plastic.
Target also has recycling stations at the front of each store. Last year they launched their "recycling program" to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day and put a recycling station at every store across the nation. Now Target customers can recycle aluminum, glass and plastic beverage containers, plastic bags, MP3 players, cell phones and ink cartridges right at the store.
